Therapy for Young Women

Online in California

Warm, supportive therapy for college-aged women navigating identity, anxiety, and the transition to adulthood.

Does it feel like you’re supposed to have it all figured out already?

Hi, I’m Jackie. I’m a licensed therapist for late bloomers, deep feelers, and young women navigating the transition to adulthood. I’m here to help you slow down, explore your inner world, and grow into your most grounded, confident self.

Navigating your late teens and early twenties can feel like a constant balancing act. Whether you’re feeling behind in life or simply overwhelmed by the pressure of academic stress and shifting relationships, it’s easy to feel stuck or disconnected.

You might be seeking a space where you don’t have to perform or keep it together—a place to explore the "why" behind your anxiety while gaining the confidence to emerge into your adult self.

I help young women who are:

  • Feeling the pressure to "launch" or be perfect while feeling behind.

  • Struggling with anxiety that makes it hard to focus or feel present.

  • Navigating relationship patterns that feel confusing or draining.

  • Searching for identity and a sense of who they actually want to be.

  • Feeling creatively blocked or disconnected from their inner voice.

You deserve to move through these transitions with clarity, self-awareness, and a little more self-love. Together, we can create a path forward that feels authentic to you.

My Approach

I take a thoughtful, collaborative approach to therapy. My style is warm and exploratory, focused on uncovering the deeper patterns and inner stories that shape your daily life. Together, we focus on:

Deep Insight

Using psychodynamic depth work to understand recurring emotions and relationship dynamics, we explore the inner stories and past experiences shaping your present.

Practical Strategies

We develop tangible coping skills, gather resources that work for you, and design self-care routines for managing stress and anxiety.

Creative Exploration

For those interested, I enjoy incorporating dreamwork and expressive arts practices to bring unconscious feelings into awareness in a gentle, meaningful way.

Forward Momentum

I use my training in creativity coaching to help you break through procrastination or feeling stuck by taking collaboratively planned tiny steps forward, unlocking your creative potential and allowing you to bring your dreams to fruition.

FAQs

Who do you work with?

I work with clients ages 18-21, often college students, dealing with stress, anxiety, life transitions, identity exploration, academic pressure, emotional growth, procrastination, and creative blocks.

My therapy clients must be based in California, the state in which I’m licensed.

I specialize in working with female-identifying clients, but people of all gender identities are welcome.

At this time, my practice is not designed to support clients who are in active crisis or who need intensive or crisis-level care (such as ongoing suicidal behavior, active self-harm, active eating disorders, or substance use issues). If that level of support is needed, I’m happy to help you find appropriate resources and referrals.
